Kasey Yang

For the past two years, I have been involved with the creative team at optiMize, a social innovation incubator for student-led projects at the University of optiMize, as both a storyteller and a designer. Projects I've worked on have ranged from a 60-page booklet detailing the projects that we funded to updating and maintaining the organization website to designing print and online media for promotional use. Below I've showcased some of the projects that I've worked on!

Logo Design

During summer 2019 while students worked full-time on their entrepreneurship projects, I helped many of them develop logos and branding

Fellows Booklet

One of the larger internal design projects is the booklet made at the end of the year showcasing all of the optiMize fellows — students whose projects were funded by optiMize. Below are just a few of the page formats used in a booklet about sixty pages long developed on Sketch.
Along with two other members of the creative team, we spent two weeks interviewing seventy fellows, line editing the content, and putting together the booklet to show to donors and general members.
